Who says that August is a quiet month in terms of Free Money? Most definitely not for me. I made £396 pounds while I was on holiday. Second highest of the year and three times over monthly target. The main highlight is that I surpassed my annual objective of £1,500 pounds in Free Money by £119 pounds since the bar is set at £1,619 so far in 2023. From now on, everything will be a surplus. I can sit back and relax even more.

Bank rewards. I have £19 pounds locked in every month no matter what. The only variable comes from my Santander account fluctuating between £3 to £11 pounds. This time I was awarded a mere £4 pounds. £23 pounds in total for my efforts.

Interest on Savings. I used some money for my holidays and the interest payment took a small bite as a result. £23 pounds is still a good take home nevertheless. I am hoping that next month I will be reaching and exceeding my £200 pounds annual objective from interest payments only.

Cashback. A huge £350 pounds payment after opening a Stocks & Shares ISA. Single highest cashback reward ever. Just terrific. I explain it all in my post £350 Cashback for opening a Stocks & Shares ISA. Bearing in mind that I set an annual objective of £350 pounds from cashback as a Free Money Stream, I have to make clear that I was not selling myself short because, in all honesty, I was not anticipating a humongous £981 cashback pay-out by this time. Not sure if I will get more cashback payments before the end of the year but I am well chuffed with this nice chunk of Free Money.

It took eight months to reach my annual objective in 2023. All five Free Money Sources have contributed with four out of five on target to deliver the sums projected at the beginning of the year. I am disappointed with decluttering sales so far. Really poor I must admit. If I am able to correct the situation over the next four months, I will be on track to deliver £2,000 pounds in Free Money. I’ll have a toast to that.
