Only a net profit of £47 in June 2026 which is somewhat disappointing if we consider a £353 positive cash inflow of £284 from Free Money Streams and £69 from the Stoozing Fund. However, the positions I am holding at the moment in my Stocks & Shares ISA experienced a dip due to exposure to precious metals. The end result is that the Free Cash Fund slipped £306 back into the red. Oh, well. This is a long race and blips are to be expected in the short term. I am not happy about it but I am not going to lose any sleep at night either. I know I will claw it all back plus some.
Bank Rewards. Three accounts times £3 each makes a total of £9. I mean it is 50% better than £6 though these are not impressive numbers. Every little helps. Target for the year is £100 and I am looking at £39 with six months to go. It’s going to be a close call.
Cashback. I bagged £260 from cashback alone this month. Glorious. £141 cashback from AMEX spending and £119 from two transactions made available for payment in my TopCashback account. The first one of £44 came from switching Energy Suppliers in September last year (see post Energy Switch Cashback Boost: the simple method that paid me £84). Not as straightforward as I anticipated because it did not track correctly forcing me to make a claim. The claim took a few months to get resolved in my favour. Not impressed but not overly concerned. The second one for £75 was just for opening a Santander Stocks & Shares ISA and depositing £100 (more of this in a future post). In complete contrast, cashback was made payable within a month from opening the account. One can never tell really.

Decluttering Sales. A single sale this month. A portable hair removal wax thingie with new cartridges came my way from my lovely wife. Not sure if these had a market but the only real test is listing them for sale. What looked like pure garbage to me was swapped for £15 on Vinted. Can’t complain.

I surpassed the £1k mark in Free Money Earnings in the first six months of 2026. I am sitting on £1,063 Free Cash (£427 from £1,500 target). The Free Cash Fund is at £14.6k. It is not all smooth sailing and a few bumps on the road are to be expected. Long-term the math works: £1,500 Plus Free Money + £1,200 Stoozing profits + £200 (5% S&S ISA appreciation) is about £3,000 per year out of thin air. Time is on my side since this money does not exist in my realm so if I let it compound I will be looking at £50k in five years’ time. I am sure I am a dreamer but I am not the only one. Hope you enjoy my Journey.
