£214 Free Money from my triad of contributors in August 2025. I made £141 from Free Money Streams, £34 from Free Cash Fund gains and £39 from the Stoozing Fund. I am usually below the £125 mark this time of the year but I am having a good couple of summer months which have allowed me to ride the wave and stay on top.
Bank Rewards. £20 better off as expected. On the other hand, I have recently received a communication from Halifax reporting that cash rewards will be coming to an end from September 2025. Not the best piece of news since this will mean cutting my takings in half. Really disappointing but outside of my circle of influence. I will have to start looking for alternatives sooner rather than later. All in good time.
Interest on Savings. £25 from interest payments. £5 per £1,000 saved per month. I have a couple more months left before my £5k in savings is transferred to the Stoozing Fund. Just ticking over until then.
Cashback. £78 cashback from using my AMEX credit card as a means of payment. Easiest Free Money there is to make. I have made £400 from my credit card only this year.
Decluttering sales. £18 from two items sold on eBay. £16 from a womens shirt and £2 from a video game. Not a lot but I am chipping away at it. Still £155 away from a £500 annual target.
That’s it. I am £190 away from my of goal of £1,500 from Free Money Streams in 2025. That’s good but I am also getting used to the idea that I will not be able to complete a bank switch promotion this year. Either I do not qualify or the right one is just not coming my way. I am making it up by over delivering in other areas such as cashback. I think I will able to cope with the disappointment and handle the pressure of doing practically nothing to get myself to the finish line.
