June 2025 delivered £138 Free Money, £13 over the £125 bar and that is two months on the bounce my friends. A grand total of £198 if we add £34 profits from the Stoozing Fund and £26 from Free Cash Fund gains. I know that I sound like a broken record but this money came in almost passively with nearly no interaction from my side. Mind due, assuming that I deliver the £125 monthly ask, there is another £40-ish contribution from stoozing and another £20-ish just from the Cash ISA Pot in the fund. Point being that things have to go really badly for me not to bag £200 of Free Money every month. Happy days.

Bank Rewards. I am stuck on the £21 mark. No more and hardly ever no less than that per month. £250+ per year.

Interest on Savings. I made a bit of an effort to save £5,000 as early as possible in the year with the intention of putting my mind to rest as regards to an outstanding debt. The debt repayment is not due until November so I have saved this money away and it will be earning interest for me until that time. I have deposited this money in a Cash ISA at a 4.81% AER yielding £20 to £25 per month. I am hoping to make well over £100 over the next five months hopefully doubling on my objective of £100 from interest on savings for 2025.

Cashback. £48 from cashback alone, £45 of which from spending using my AMEX credit card and £3 from casual purchases matured in my TopCashback account. Not too much of a story here really. You spend, you earn. The more you spend, the more you earn and I am spending a bit lately. Can’t help it.

Decluttering Sales. £23 from two eBay sales. £14 from a pair of nearly new women’s fitness shoes literally worn twice and £9 from a bunch of used tennis balls I happen to gather every so often as a result of my recreational playing. I need £177 more worth of sales to meet annual target of £500. For a record of all my sales, please visit The £500 Decluttering Challenge for 2025.

Freebies. I finally managed to magic free items into money. Firstly, I sold two items which came in as part of a lot of stuff I was given. I had no expectations neither in terms of value nor of my chances of landing a sale but I listed them regardless and remained hopeful. They sold almost simultaneously to my utter surprise. A battered sack truck for a tenner in Facebook Marketplace and a lot of gas fittings on eBay for a £9 profit. Crazy. Then I was awarded a £1 free bet courtesy of Betfair. I placed a bet on horse racing going my whole pound in to the second favourite at odds of 6.80 and yes, you guessed right, my horse came in as a winner. I immediately cashed out my impressive profit of £5.35 and proceeded to transfer it into the Freebies Pot. I am at £54 after the £24 contribution from this month. I need £46 more to achieve £100 from Freebies in 2025.

Right. £877 Free Money half way through the year. On track in all Free Money Streams except bank switch promotions. I have been monitoring offers closely and I know by now that this year is going to be a struggle for me. Hopefully the right one will come by over the coming months. Otherwise, I am going to have to come up with a way of making up for it. Finger crossed.
