3 Essential Tools you need to make Free Money

I want to make this post short and straight to the point. I am not going to give you a comprehensive list of items you will need in your toolbox to make Free Money. I will just stick to the basics. You don’t necessarily need to be committed to building a Free Money Pot either, but you must have these tools not only to get some serious savings but to start collecting Free Money easily and effortlessly. I trust that you find this information useful so that you can start giving yourself a well deserved income boost.
1. Sign up to a Cashback Website now and start earning Free Money for your purchases.
A cashback website will give you money back every time you buy. All you need to do is sign up, click on the link to the merchant of your choice, complete the purchase and,… voila! the transaction will track and you will receive a percentage of your purchase back after a maturation period. The price will not change whether you use the cashback website or not but you will get money back every time you buy a product or a service following this process. You can also use a phone app if that is your preference. The important thing is for you to start collecting Cashback for everyday purchases. They all add up quickly into sizeable amounts.
You will be spending money anyway. Why not get some of it back? You will make hundreds if not thousands. The proof is in the pudding and you can check my numbers for yourself. Just follow this link: Cashback
There are a number of Cashback websites out there but I do recommend these two: TopCashback and Quidco.
The amount you can earn using cashback websites varies depending on the merchant, product category, and the cashback site itself, but generally, you can expect to earn between 1% and 10% cashback on your purchases, with higher percentages often available for specific deals or new customer promotions. Easiest Free Money there is to collect in my experience. Start earning and sign up now!
2. Apply for a Cashback Credit Card or a Cashback Debit Card (or both) and use it for all your expenses.
We buy and we spend just to function in society to cover for basic and other needs. In this day and age, chances are that you use a card as means of payment 99% of the time. From my perspective, I see two choices available:
- Pay using your card and get nothing.
- Pay using a cashback card and get from 1% to 5% back (depending on the card issuer and offer).
A no brainer really. You will be spending money anyway. Why not get some of it back? I do, so should anyone else.
You are welcome to do you own research but the two cards I use are:
- American Express AMEX Platinum Credit Card (up to 5% cashback).
- Zilch debit card (1% cashback rewards).
The AMEX Platinum gives you cashback as per the following tiers:
Cashback Rate | Expenditure | Total | Accumulative |
5% | £2,500 | £125 | £125 |
0.75% | £2,500-£10,000 | £56 | £181 |
1.25% | £10,000-£20,000 | £125 | £306 |
I personally earn hundreds of pounds credited as cashback using my AMEX card. If you want to learn more, please see post How to make £250+ Cashback from an American Express Platinum Credit Card.
A Zilch debit card is a virtual card that can be linked to a debit card to make purchases. Zilch can be used like a debit card or a credit card. If you use Zilch as a debit card you will earn a part of your purchase back in Rewards (typically 1%). You can exchange your rewards at any time with a huge range of high street and online retailers. Whether you prefer debit over credit cards or not, there should be no reason why you should not get more from spending your hard earned cash.
3. Sell your clutter and make thousands.
You might not be aware of it but you probably have an average of £4,000 worth of clutter around your house. I am not a betting man but there is a high probability that you are oblivious to the fact that you are sitting on a pile of Free Money waiting for you to take it. All you need to do is start flogging it. You can declutter and make some decent dosh from the comfort of your home by selling your no longer needed items in online marketplaces.
There are a number of them but I predominantly use eBay as an outlet for my redundant items. You can sell on any marketplace of your choice but eBay is by far the most popular one where millions of buyers and sellers meet and trade on a daily basis. For this very reason, your chances of selling an item are much higher on eBay than anywhere else.
This post is not about a tutorial on how to sell your clutter for cash which, by the way, is a fairly simple endeavour. You can easily find a number of them by running a search online. Suffice to say that this Blog documents countless examples of the personal items I dispose of and profit from using eBay as my main vehicle. I have made 5 digits over a number of years, but since documenting my Journey in this Blog, my numbers are consistent with the above statistic and I am getting ever closer to the £4k mark. Please feel free to check my records by following this link: eBay & Casual Sales.
If you are considering making some serious Free Money by selling your clutter, you need to open an eBay account now.
