2024 comes to end bringing home £156 Free Money in December. Traditionally, there is not much of an expectation at this time of the year but Father Christmas came in time to leave a nice chunk of cashback as a gift. £156 for the month, £31 over the £125 bar. Monthly average stays at £213 with a final Free Money figure for 2024 of £2,552. Not a bad year at all.

Bank Rewards. £20 again after bank perk collection run. Passive income all the way. Just keep counting my money at the end of the month.

Interest on Savings. £21 on this occasion. I am going to have to start all over again in 2025 since all moneys saved are destined for the Stoozing Fund. I had an undisclosed goal in mind of saving up this money through the year, keep the interest as Free Money and then use the cash for my next Stoozing Project. All in all, £5,000 are available to Stooze for an expected profit of £469 (see post How to make Free Money from Credit Cards – Stoozing 3.0). On a different note, £150 was the annual objective which was surpassed by £8 leaving the total from interest savings at £158. Another one bites the dust.

Cashback. Ho Ho Ho! £48 for using my AMEX credit card in all expenditures. I am going to spend anyway so it is nice to have some of it back as cashback. Mind due, I have earned nearly £500 in 2024 from my AMEX card only. Totally unexpected.

Tracked transactions matured in my TopCashback account. Time to cash-in £18. Many thanks.

Quidco tempted me via email with a £20 promotional bonus a few months back. I opted in and made some purchases for my own needs via eBay. Thought nothing of it until I checked the account recently only to find £21 available for withdrawal. Sweet.

Lastly, HSBC sent me a promo email back in October by which I was entitled to 10% cashback (topped at £50) for purchases on groceries, fuel and UK travel for 3 months coinciding with the Christmas period. All I had to do was to use my HSBC credit card. Similarly, I opted in, thought nothing of it and kept using the card as usual only to find £20 credited as cashback at the beginning of December. End figure is £107 cashback for absolutely nothing. I do love Christmas.

Decluttering Sales. Two more videogames sold for £4 net profit each. Not a lot for me to do other than posting them. Every little adds up and I find myself £611 better off in 2024 after selling a bit of clutter. Can’t argue with that.

Right. Another year gone. Having made £2,552 plus £421 from Fund yields, 2024 is officially the second best year after 2021 (£3,406). The Free Cash Fund is £10,521. That is after taking a loss of £109 right at the end of December in my IFISA account due to bad debt. That is not good but I would like to focus on the positives. Having £10k in the fund and nearly an equal ammount in the Stoozing Fund, I know that earnings will compound quickly delivering additional significant profits. 2024 was a good year but the future is bright.
