£132 Free Money made in November 2024. Not that monthly targets matter much anymore by now but that is £7 over £125 anyway. 2024 is turning out to be a great year bringing home £218 as a monthly average.
Bank Rewards. £20 is a given from collecting bank perks. I have five accounts contributing and I am not planning on any changes in any direction. My funds and direct debit payments flow in and out automatically to and from these accounts leaving behind a trail of reward crumps.
Interest on Savings. Another £20 split as £9 from Natwest, £9 from RBS and £2 from a Simple Saver account opened via Moneybox. I need £13 more to reach the £150 objective and I know I will get another £20 in December. That is to say that I will be a few pounds in the clear as regards as to this particular Free Money Stream.
Cashback. A little bit of spending using my AMEX credit card delivered another £47 cashback. I also received £11 via TopCashback from casual purchases.
Decluttering Sales. My kid gave me a bunch of videogames he no longer wanted. Having listed them all, they are shifting at pace. Alongside these, I also sold an air purifier device which was a surplus to requirement. £34 sales money takes me to £603 from selling my clutter in 2024. Happy with that.
All my earning objectives are met by now. Even though I am winding down, free cash keeps coming in on its own. That is £2,396 from January to November which is officially the second best year on record after 2021 (£3,406). The Free Cash Fund is now £10,444. I am guessing I could make some good use of it but it will remain untouched. Remember that it should not be there to start with. I am going to sit on it and see where this journey takes me. More to come.
